Who’s that Cat on a Harley?

It was something to see – a phalanx of powerful Harley Davidsons lined up at the Lifestyle Centre in Ballito offering members of the public a chance to ride on the back of a Harley for a small donation. It was a fundraiser for the Feline Feral Fund, a Ballito based organisation led by Sharon Cossey caring for the homeless cats in our community.

Andre Roodt from Harley Motorcycle Adventure Tours organised the event after a chat on Radio Life & Style and on Saturday Ballito resonated to the steady beat of those Vee Twin Harley motors as the curious and the brave got to experience the thrill of riding the rolling thunder.

R1200 was raised for the fund and the Durban chapter of the Harley Owners Group won a whole lot of new friends in Ballito.
